Repurpose the existing drab dwelling into a ‘funky’ art deco inspired place to live
Challenges:
Access and desired budget
Design Philosophy:
- Concentrate on the only external areas of the dwelling that actually be seen
- Push low roof heights up where possible and legal.
- Investigate materials and shapes that accentuate the defined period
- Introduce natural light and proportioned room size/spaces
Outcomes:
A complete transformation of the existing dwelling into an unrecognizable contemporary dwelling.
